See you on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Seignosse for THE surf & business day of the year! After the 2024 edition was canceled (thanks to unpredictable weather...), we're back and more motivated than ever with the 12th edition of the EuroSIMA Beach Party!

At the helm of this edition? Miky Picon, long-time patron of the Beach Party, former pro, and key figure in competitions. As competition director, his credo is simple:

The EuroSIMA Beach Party is a fun sporting challenge that promotes the various disciplines within the surfing family! This competition format has been designed to ensure that competitors spend as much time as possible in the water.

 

Created in 2006 by the Hossegor Surf Club and Rock Food, the Beach Party has established itself as the legendary gathering place for industry players, before being reborn in 2018 in an even more collective format. Today, it is aimed at all companies (large and small) that want to fly their colors in a spirit of 100% surf business teamwork.

 

WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?

  • 8:00 a.m.: Check-in, breakfast with coffee and croissants provided by Cafés Richard
  • 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Inter-company competition, 2 rounds of 20 minutes per competitor
  • Lunch break: Healthy lunch & refreshments by Ocean52
  • 7:00 p.m.: Trophy presentation, followed by a relaxing evening at JO&JOE with beers provided by Carlsberg

 

THE RULES OF THE GAME?

  • One team = 4 surfers (including at least ONE woman, otherwise it's -5 points 👀)
  • Open to member companies, associations, agencies, shops, institutions, artisans... the EuroSIMA Family, in short!
  • Matos libre: shortboard, longboard, or bodyboard, the goal is to score and have fun.
  • 8 waves counted (2 per surfer) for a total ranking of 80
  • No team riders, but former unsponsored pros are welcome, of course.

 

THE BEACH PARTY SPIRIT?

A perfect mix of sporting challenge, friendly atmosphere, wave sharing, and business networking. Are you coming for the performance? Perfect. Are you coming to have fun with your colleagues and enjoy a real surfing experience? Even better.

 

WHAT ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT?

Bring your pop-up tent, banners, boards & wetsuits (obviously), your good vibes, and we'll take care of the rest!

But be warned: there are only 12 spots available, so the fastest teams will be the first to be accepted. Teams registered in 2024 will be given priority, while others will be placed on a waiting list.

EuroSIMA Beach Party 2026

Compétition inter-entreprise, l’EuroSIMA Beach Party est destinée à tous les passionnés pratiquants de surf exerçant dans notre filière Action Sports. Inscrivez votre team le plus vite possible, les places sont limitées ! Constituez votre équipe de 4 surfeurs (dont une surfeuse s'il vous plait) et défendez les couleurs de votre entreprise. Rendez-vous le vendredi 26 juin sur les plages de Seignosse pour une journée de surf bien cool !!!

  • The team must consist of four people from the same company or from several small companies. Each participant in the competition must hold a valid license (practitioner or competition) from a club affiliated with the French Surfing Federation or a certificate of civil liability insurance covering them for surfing. In the event of a dispute, the competition rules of the French Surfing Federation shall prevail.
  • To set up your competition area, remember to bring your equipment!

    Don't forget, you need at least one female surfer on the team!
  • You must be a member of the FFSurf. If not, please send your civil liability insurance details.

    The rate is applied based on the turnover of your company or association, and a promotional rate is applied for the registration of a second team.
