#EuroSIMA Family : Pyrénéance, the Pyrenees experience
PROMOTING THE PYRENEES: A RESPONSIBILITY THAT'S A COMMITMENT
Pyreneance is an incoming travel agency based in the Hautes-Pyrénées since 1994. It designs and operates holidays and events for companies, local authorities and individuals throughout the Pyrenees. Like all Eurosima members, Pyreneance's playground is 100% outdoor. To this end, the agency makes a permanent and sustainable commitment to the development of its territory.

What better way than through discovery and wonder to raise awareness of the fragility of the environment in which we live?
Right in its boots and its ecological convictions, it is in the credo "it's those who talk about it the most who eat it the least". is the agency's credo. However, it's not so much in terms of ecological necessity and "normality" that the agency's actions are most striking, but rather in sharing the vital need, the urgency, to re-appropriate this extremely rich natural environment that makes up its famous Pyrenean playground.
Take a look: from the Catalan fir forests to the maritime pines of the Atlantic coast, there are hundreds of unique valleys. One hundred and twenty-nine "main" peaks over 3000m in altitude, thousands of mountain lakes, immense and imposing canyons, the turquoise waters of Spanish rivers, the veritable jungle of the northern valleys in Spring, or a veritable desert just a stone's throw (or three) from these same peaks... all at the foot of the (almost) most beautiful barrels in the world!

A life-size lab for outdoor activities
This diversity is a life-size laboratory for all known and yet-to-be-reinvented outdoor activities, an extraordinary adventure playground, unique in the world. And, the icing on the cake, these mountains are home to men and women who have lived here for millennia. They cultivate, harvest, breed and develop a way of life that is the envy of the world. It's a terroir that forms an integral part of the experience the agency offers its customers.
"It's unthinkable not to involve these passionate, rooted players, who keep this age-old breath of life alive with passion and evolving with modernity (off shore, we hope)".

No CSR approach, Nature is a matter of course
Without pitting anyone against anyone else, in a normal, natural way, this is how the agency's CSR approach translates into practice. Through its seminars, events(next event at the end of March: La Pyreneance) and stays, the agency strives daily to promote its terroir and provide concrete support for its stakeholders.
"Today, we work with almost a hundred guides who live in the valleys, dozens of accommodation providers who invest in the area, and a large number of producers and processors in the agri-food sector...and nothing is more normal and engaging than collaborating with these players".
Ah, and if you don't have the opportunity to come and discover all this for yourself, you'll soon be able to enjoy this little taste of adventure and terroir on the Internet, thanks to the launch of "Pyreneance TV" and a monthly program that will introduce you to these colorful Pyrenean people.
